Grassroots Leadership helps Southern community, labor, faith, and campus organizations work for positive social action. This brochure was part of their effort to end detention of immigrants, including young children, at the T. Don Hutto Residential Center, a former state prison. In August 2009, the Obama administration announced the end of family detention at Hutto. The design challenge was to create an immediate visual impact, as well as find images that captured the message.
